JB hosts ALW's 60th Birthday in the Park

BBC Radio 2 presents a special live musical event with a host of stars to celebrate Andrew Lloyd Webber's 60th birthday at Hyde Park, London on Sunday, 14 September 2008.

Doors open at 16:30, show starts at 18:00.

Staged in Hyde Park and presented by John Barrowman, the concert features a host of stars from the West End, Broadway, pop and television, including Lee Mead, Joss Stone, Duncan James, Idina Menzel (Wicked), Elaine Paige, Julian Lloyd Webber, Rhydian (X-Factor), Hayley Westenra and Steve Balsamo. Also joining the party will be stars from BBC One's I'd Do Anything.

The concert will also be broadcast on BBC Radio2 on Friday 10 October 2008.

"Music Music Music" produced by Simon Franglen (Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand) and Graham Stack (Kylie, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart), with the exception of "What About Us?" which is produced by Chris Braide. “Music Music Music” is a spellbinding collection of twelve songs that are close to John’s heart, as he explains..
