John's first hilarious appearance on this innuendo-laden chat show in November 2006 saw him discussing the Captain Jack action figure's lack of "points of articulation", his novel approach to dog-walking, and the special joys of a night out in Cardiff watching girls in boob tubes being attacked by seagulls for their chips! Not to mention that very special clip from Shark Attack 3: Megalodon...
In May 2007 John appeared with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber to chat to Jonathan Ross about Any Dream Will Do, only for the show to be comprehensively hijacked by Janice Dickinson. The supermodel came back on set after her interview, causing John to step in front of Sir Andrew to 'protect' him from an 'angry' Janice!
John returned to the show in May 2008 with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber to talk about I'd Do Anything the day before the live final which saw Jodie Prenger voted the winner. On Jonathan Ross's show, John and Andrew would not be drawn into naming their own front-runner despite attempts by their host.
