Thousands of sci-fi fans travelled to Peterborough on 12 and 13 May for The Greatest Show in the Galaxy, the first sci-fi convention from Treble Ace Events. John was invited alongside his Torchwood cast-mates to meet fans, sign autographs and have photo-ops. He also took part in riotous chat and Q&A sessions that featured dance, song and a mock stage-fight between John and Eve!
This was the first time the Torchwood cast had been together since filming wrapped on the show, and as well as the team in the photo above, Freema Agyeman, Indira Varma and Lachlan Nieboer were on hand to meet fans and answer questions.
When John had finished his signing and photo stints, he took to the floor to visit the merchandise stalls. He also had the chance to sit in the "Back to the Future" De Lorean, try out the Captain's chair from the Starship Enterprise, chat to the owner of a radio-controlled R2D2 and was even followed by a Dalek!
