An Evening With JB - Boston and Toronto
Join John at two special evening events where he will be telling stories, answering questions - and having a blast as usual! The Boston event is at 8.00pm at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel on Saturday, 13 August. Then in Toronto, the event will be held at 8.00pm at the Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel on Saturday, 3 September.

JB Convention: Cincinnati Comic Expo
The Cincinnati Comic Expo has been entertaining fans since 2010 with its annual show celebrating all periods and genres of pop culture. The 2016 event will be held from Friday, 23 September to Sunday, 25 September at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
John will be there to sign autographs, do photo ops and his now-legendary panel on 24 and 25 September.

JB Convention: Boston Comic Con
John is off to Boston for their 2016 Comic Con. The event is being held at the Seaport World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston MA 02210. John is scheduled to attend on Saturday, 13 and Sunday, 14 August.

JB Convention: Fan Fest Orlando
John will attend the special one-day FanFest Orlando event at the Orange County Convention Center on 17 September. This convention is being held as a charity event, with all the profits benefiting One Orlando, in support of those affected by the attack on the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando.

John announces Torchwood Comic Special Edition
Torchwood #1 sees Captain Jack come back to Cardiff to engage the help of the last person who expected to see him again, Gwen Cooper! On the road, on the run, and under fire can Jack and Gwen put aside their differences and rebuild the heart of Torchwoods before its flame is stamped out forever?!
Alongside the regular edition (in comic book stores August 3), Titan, Carole and I are proud to present a special convention edition of Torchwood which includes the entirety of Torchwood #1 plus extra fan-favorite adventure The Selkie with a brand-new cover from comic book legend Tommy Lee Edwards (Batman, Hellboy).
These regular and special editions are available to purchase at the Titan booth #5537 at San Diego Comic-Con. Carole and I will be guests on a special Titan panel where fans will be treated to announcements, behind-the-scenes reveals and upcoming plans for the Torchwood comic series. This panel will take place on Saturday July 23 at 15:30 in room 5AB. You will also have the opportunity to meet Carole and I at the show as we will be signing copies of Torchwood #1 on Sunday July 24 between 11:00am and 12:00pm at Autograph Area, Table AA21.

JB Convention: Honolulu Comic Con
John will be making his first appearance at the Honolulu Comic Con in July. The event will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center, Honolulu, on 29-31 July. John is scheduled to attend on 30 and 31 July.

JB Panto: Dick Whittington
Yes, it's the news so many fans have been waiting for! John will be back at the Birmingham Hippodrome this panto season to star as Dick Whittington. He'll once again team up with the Krankies and they will be joined by Steve McFadden (known to soap afficionados as Phil Mitchell in Eastenders) as King Rat.
Produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, Dick Whittington will be directed by Michael Harrison. Michael said: "Once again we are delighted to bring together a sensational cast of talented performers for the Birmingham Hippodrome pantomime, which – as always – will be a spectacle on a par with any West End show in terms of scale and production values."

JB TV: Reign
John appears in episode 17 of Season 3 of The CW's historical drama, Reign. He plays Munro, "a powerful Scottish clan leader who poses a threat to the Queen's crown." (TV Guide).
This epsiode is scheduled to air on The CW network (US) on Monday, 13 June at 8/7c. Reign is also broadcast by Netflix in the UK (broadcast date to be confirmed).
JB Convention: Wizard World Chicago
John will be back in Chicago for the Wizard World convention in August. Held at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, John is scheduled to attend on the Saturday, 20 August and Sunday, 21 August.

New DC Arrow comic by John and Carole
John and his sister Carole have a new writing collaboration for us, a DC Comic series that explores the back story of John's Arrow character, Malcolm Merlyn. John told TV Insider, "It has to be one of the coolest things we’ve done together."
The comic, Arrow: The Dark Archer, will initially be available in digital format. Twelve chapters will be released bi-weekly starting Wednesday 13 January (available via the DC Comics App, readdcentertainment.com, iBooks, comixology.com, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, and iVerse ComicsPlus). A print edition will be available later.
Update 29 May: Carole Barrowman has confirmed that the print version of the comic is scheduled for release on 31 August.

Captain Jack is back! As well as appearing in the Big Finish audio dramas, Captain Jack is returning in a series of comic books, written by John and Carole. The comic is due to be available in shops from 6 July.
Titan Comics announced:

Captain Jack returns in new audiobook adventure
During his Magic FM radio show on Sunday, 3 May, John announced that he'd recently completed recording a new Torchwood audiobook adventure featuring Captain Jack for Big Finish productions. The audiobook, titled Torchwood: The Conspiracy, is expected to be available in September on CD and digital download with further releases to come.
