Star guests who have checked into Hotel Babylon include Joan Collins, Anthony Head, Jerry Hall and Bonnie Langford.

John played movie director Simon, filming his latest rom-com at the hotel and quickly descending into incandescent frustration by the lack of chemistry of his two stars. The hotel staff contrive to bring the self-absorbed actors together by playing on their egos, while Simon goes into an impressive meltdown...

Hotel Babylon reunited John with Alexandra Moen (Doctor Who's Lucy Saxon) and Martin Marquez (Anything Goes and Jack and the Beanstalk).
